The role

We are looking to add to a small number of strategically placed Business Development Managers, focused on securing major new contracts across a range of sectors. Each individual is tasked with building and creating relationships with prospects and developing a deep new business pipeline with customers. These relationships may well be manifest themselves as partnership opportunities, whereby other organisations work in affiliation to provide new opportunities to GAS.

The essentials

Standard weekday hours with a 3pm finish on a Friday – the first local company in our sector to offer an improved work/life balance. Accept no imitations!

Financials; our basic salary is a direct reflection of your success in sales and could be anything from £25K to £50K, + uncapped commission + month-following incentive payments. Plus a car allowance or vehicle.

With your amazing financials, live the dream with between 34-36 days holiday, dependent on the Christmas break (includes Bank Holidays).

What we need from you

We are looking for someone willing to utilise their existing client portfolio to introduce opportunities to us, through networking, partnerships arrangements and referral. You will be successful, through your reputation and personable character, in building a pipeline of prospective new business whilst still able to hit revenue targets through quick return business. Your network will be incredible, and you’ll get a thrill from measuring your success against KPIs and targets, typical of a sales role.

What skills/experience do you need to apply?

We feel a minimum of 2 years in a business development role, ideally field/remotely based, is best suited and most guaranteed to succeed in this position. You will be eager to share evidence of your proven track record in sales and will have an enviable “black book” of business connections who have mutual respect for your service offering.   You will also be able to talk confidently about experience in developing partnership or affiliate agreements with individuals or groups and associations.
