As a Business Solutions Advisor, you will be proactive in finding new sales opportunities. Working in our state-of-the-art Sea View HQ, you will make outbound calls to business customers offering a range of services across our portfolio of “cost saving solutions”, this would include procurement of waste, water, energy, business insurance and PDQ machines. Identify the decision-maker within that company and through rapport building, identify/find a need for our services. The “lead” or potential opportunity is then managed by an experienced energy consultant and driven to convert into the sale.

What does a successful BSA look like?

To be effective at working in sales you need to have a great set of skills, personality traits and attributes. To begin with, you need to demonstrate effective listening skills when speaking to, or communicating with, clients and prospects. Your ability to build a rapport and long-term relationships with customers can increase your conversion rate and long-term income potential significantly. Furthermore, you will need a thorough understanding of the entire sales process, an

ability to spot and overcome objections, and eventually have the skills to close a sale and follow up reliably and punctually.

What we need from you to succeed in our BSA role:

  • Source a continuous stream of highly qualified leads and prospects
  • Present, promote and sell our fantastic range of cost saving solutions
  • Explain the benefits of our services
  • Establish and build long-term relationships with prospects to ensure a continuous flow of strong revenue
  • Overcome objections that are put forward regularly by prospective clients
  • Work towards determined sales revenue targets and continually improve your sale techniques to match or beat them
  • A proven track record of success within sales
  • Your sector experience or background will be ideally from within a B2B service industry

Paul Johnson is very much a home-grown talent.

He joined Great Annual Savings Group in its infancy, fresh from a youth career as a professional footballer with Hartlepool United.  He quickly established a reputation within the business and aced all required accountancy qualifications in the space of four years to become the Group’s Management Accountant.

Several successful projects later, Paul was promoted to Head of Finance.  When the former FD left GAS, he took on the mantle of the business’ most senior finance professional; boasting a string of incredible achievements all under the age of 30.

Interesting fact:

Paul made his professional debut for Hartlepool United against Bournemouth in the Football League.  Some say Danny Ings still resides in his pocket to this day.
