Business Solutions Manager

Business Solutions Manager

Are you tired of the same old slog in your current sales role?

Would you love to feel the magic again, and that buzz from securing a sale?

Do you consider yourself an elite salesperson, someone who is the best of the best and leaves everyone for dust as your regularly meet and exceed your targets?

And most importantly, would you like a career not just a job?

We put our colleagues and their families first, so join a culture that enables its people to be greater than they ever believed, in an environment greater than they expected. #ourpeoplefirst

From us to you; reward, care, challenge, development, wellbeing, family, loyalty, expertise, inclusion, teamwork, opportunities and love. Lots of it.

From you to us; endeavour, passion, fun, camaraderie, optimism, entrepreneurial spirit, hunger, motivation and commitment. And you’ll get masses back.

The essentials

Standard office hours with a 3pm finish on a Friday – the first local company in our sector to offer an improved work/life balance. Accept no imitations!

Financials; our basic salary is a direct reflection of your success in sales and could be anything from £25K to £50K, + uncapped commission + month-following incentive payments.

With your amazing financials, live the dream with between 34-36 days holiday, dependent on the Christmas break (includes Bank Holidays).

Benefits; far too many to list here, but all detailed on our careers page.

The role

We want the finished article in our people; someone able to generate new business through a mix of cold calling, referrals and networking, all from the comfort of our ‘soon to be finished’ state of the art head office. This is the full account management role, building long term relationships with your customers, whilst monitoring your performance against a range of KPIs and targets, typical of a sales environment.

What skills do you need to apply?

At least 2 years in a telephone-based sales role, with the ability to demonstrate success within these positions. Alternatively, success in field sales or face to face selling, but able to convince us that a move into an office/phone-based environment would suit your skills and allow you to thrive.

Might you be concerned about a lack of industry/technical knowledge? Don’t worry, we can teach you everything there is to know about cost-saving. What we can’t teach you is your ability to sell – that’s something you’ll need to bring to the table!

Paul JohnsonGroup Financial Director

Paul Johnson is very much a home-grown talent.

He joined Great Annual Savings Group in its infancy, fresh from a youth career as a professional footballer with Hartlepool United.  He quickly established a reputation within the business and aced all required accountancy qualifications in the space of four years to become the Group’s Management Accountant.

Several successful projects later, Paul was promoted to Head of Finance.  When the former FD left GAS, he took on the mantle of the business’ most senior finance professional; boasting a string of incredible achievements all under the age of 30.

“I have witnessed phenomenal growth at the Group over the many years I’ve worked here and I’m looking forward to guiding the Group into an exciting new chapter.”

Interesting fact:

Paul made his professional debut for Hartlepool United against Bournemouth in the Football League.  Some say Danny Ings still resides in his pocket to this day.
