Frequently asked
questions.

Most contract agreements require 90 days notice to terminate, so reviewing your services shortly after the first half of your contract is best. This allows us to form a full comparison and support you in terminating before the deadline.

Every waste container comes with a maximum weight allowance to allow for safe transport and emptying. If you are consistently being charged overweight fees, it may be time to review your services by increasing the container size or ordering an additional one.

You have a legal responsibility to ensure that you produce, store, transport and dispose of controlled waste in a safe and responsible manner. Duty of Care documents should make up part of your waste management contracts, protecting both parties.

This means you will take care of the waste you produce and ensure it is kept safe until it is transferred to your waste management company, which is obliged to dispose of it in a safe and responsible way.

Recycling is not legally required yet for businesses, however, opting to recycle is one of the most cost-effective methods of waste management. Many businesses now opt to split out dry recycling from their general waste to save space in their general container, and recycling glass is one of the best ways to avoid overweight charges.
