Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Great Annual Savings, our Corporate Social Responsibility mission is clear: To make a significant difference to the local community. Our aim to make a positive impact to people by delivering economic and social benefits wherever we can.

As part of our CSR initiative, we support four local charities, as well as a number of secondary charities who we fundraise for on an ad-hoc basis. Staff not only donate money to each cause, they also receive a paid day out of work to volunteer time to one of our chosen partners.

Our Chosen Charities

Heel & Toe Children's Charity

Heel & Toe

Heel & Toe Children’s charity was established in June 2008. The ‘Not for Profit’ organisation was granted charity status on the 4th September 2008, offering FREE Conductive Education Therapy for any child with Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities.

Animal Krackers

Animal Krackers is an animal rescue and re-homing charity for cats, dogs and other animals. Established in 2002, they have a small team of unpaid volunteers who help to find loving homes for animals in the area, relying solely on charitable donations from the public.

County Durham Foodbank

County Durham Food Bank

Founded in late 2011, the foodbank has grown rapidly both in its coverage of the County and the numbers fed. Feeding 3,209 people in their first year, the charity now supports well over 16,000 a year, aided by a team of over 400 volunteers.
