Entering our 8th financial year and achieving an all time high in customer numbers our focus continues to follow our customer journey and so naturally attention on retention and renewal of customers become of equal, if not more importance.
Unusually for our industry, the renewal of a customer with GAS remains the responsibility of the person who introduced the customer to us, however, we have a niche renewal team charged with monitoring and managing our renewal portfolio. This talented team offer support and guidance to each salesperson and division to ensure all customers receive the service they require and each opportunity available to us is maximised. In addition, our renewals specialists will also take responsibility for customers outside of a team’s accountability and will, on occasion, complete their own business development in acquiring new customers.
What would the role entail:
- Approaching current customers regarding the renewal of their energy contract.
- Re-engage with customers to build on an existing relationship.
- Support and educate customers on changes within market conditions.
- Looking to maximise on opportunities beyond the renewal of their energy contract.
- Working with a portfolio of suppliers to identify the most competitive tender.
- Closure of the deal.
- Occasion business development/acquisition of new business.
What you will bring with you;
- Considerable experience (3yrs +) within the energy market, and a proven track record of success.
- A notable strength in customer relations.
- Proficient and capable in all aspects of administration
- Strong time management skills
